Research Interests

§         Working on the development of a set up  for monitoring of atmospheric pollution and for trace gas analysis using photoacoustic spectrometer

§         Laser induced break down spectroscopy (LIBS) has been set up in our lab
and will be soon used  for quntitive and qualitative analysis of different substances such as geological rocks, minerals, waste water, iron slag, crude oil residue, plastics and other solid samples.

§         About to completed a joint research one year approved internal project
#  200/428 for DSR/kau
on

Detection of heavy (toxic) metals in drinking water throughout old Jeddah water pipelines using laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS).

§         Looking forward to set up laser Ablation lab to produce novel nanoparticles .( This work was submitted to KAST) .
